The revised Form I-9, Employment Eligibility Verification, with the edition date 08/01/23, is now the only accepted version for completing the employment eligibility verification process. This updated form reflects the option for eligible employers to verify employment eligibility remotely, which can be a game-changer for many organizations.

This edition is available now, and all previous versions will no longer be accepted. It’s crucial to ensure that you’re using the correct 08/01/23 edition of Form I-9, as failing to do so may lead to penalties.
