There, a level 2 background check uses a fingerprint-based search of records before clearance for certain jobs is authorized. These can include ones that involve children or the elderly. Florida statutes prohibit those with certain offenses on their records, including kidnapping, murder, manslaughter, incest, or sexual misconduct from being considered for positions of this type.
