Alliance Risk Group is pleased to welcome Brittany Gordon, MSIS and Tyler Donegan as Background Investigators handling all aspects of the background investigation process from initial receipt of the file to completion. They will conduct pre- and post- employment searches on a countywide, statewide, and federal level, assisting employers in the hiring process.
Alliance Risk Group Background Investigators receive Professional Background Screening Association (PBSA) Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) Program Certification. This will equip them with an understanding of FCRA information with an expertise in ethics and compliance throughout the hiring process.
Brittany Gordon Background Investigator
Brittany Gordon recently graduated with honors from the State University of New York with a Master of Science degree in Information Science in Intelligence Analysis with a sub-concentration in Violence, Crime and Terrorism. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Homeland Security with a Minor in Political Science and her Associates in Applied Science degree in Criminal Justice. Prior to joining Alliance, she worked as a Research Intern for the American Counterterrorism Targeting and Resilience Institute and as a Grants Intern for the New York State Division of Homeland Security & Emergency Services. She also conducted internships work piloting drones for research and presentations for the College of Emergency Preparedness, Homeland Security and Cybersecurity at SUNY Albany and as an Administrative Intern for the Albany Police Department.
Tyler Donegan Background Investigator
Tyler Donegan received of Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Investigation from the State University of New York at Canton. Prior to joining Alliance, he worked as a Technical Support Specialist for Rapid Response Monitoring Systems in Syracuse, New York and for the College of Saint Rose as an ID Card Technician. In these roles, he provided systems support with expertise merging security, facilities and technology to maximize safety and efficiency.
